This is Andrew Mead's Udemy course, The Modern JavaScript Bootcamp.
The course covered the following:
JavaScript basics
JavaScript Functions
JavaScript Objects
JavaScript Arrays
JavaScript in Browser
Data Storage and Libraries
Asynchronous JavaScript
I have previously described Andrew Mead's teaching style in his Udemy course, The Complete React Developer Course (w/ Hooks and Redux). This is the case for the indecision app and expensify app. Andrew demonstrates something by starting to write the code and then he sets an exercise.
If you have looked at the various courses that I have undertaken, you will notice that I started with Gatsby and then moved onto React. However, I purchased this course before starting React. What I noticed is, the React courses also had JavaScript sections and you have to write a lot of JavaScript when creating React apps. Therefore, this course was not really necessary for me. I elected to skip through it.
The course could be great for people learning JavaScript but actually, if you have prior vanilla js and jQuery experience, you could probably get everything you need from a YouTube video or two about ES6 or just move straight onto one of the other courses as they all give you a JavaScript refresh.
